I just wanted to comment on the chatroom. I'm wondering why more of you aren't participating in there. I don't know what you are expecting, but we mostly talk about our memories of school and the town in general. We would like to get more people involved so we can discuss/plan for the Mega Reunion. I see there are 75 people that have given e-mails and 9 pages of you that have signed the guestbook, but there is only a handful of you that have created a user name and been active here on the boards and in the chatroom.
There are some very nice comments in the guestbook about the site....thanking oliver for creating it, glad to have a place to communicate with classmates and friends, looking forward to talking with others, and volunteering time to help. Well, all these things are nice, but actions speak louder than words and I'm not trying to be funny or rude, but WE all need to take action and make it happen.
I mean at this stage; we aren't asking for money or anything else but your time and suggestions. Be a part of the planning! Check the website at least once a week for updates, post your questions, comments, opinions, stories, whatever to this message board, and join us in the chatroom between 8-9pm any day of the week.
Most of you will be home for the 4th anyways, so lets try something different, something new......something for our school, our town, for me, for you!!!! Don't hate, participate!!! Lets get excited that we now have a way to communicate and come together for a common interest............HOLLY GROVE, ARKANSAS HOME WE LOVE!!!!!!!!
